What’s the actual fact?
It’s hard to know what’s actually happening when it’s happening. You might think the circumstances are about one thing, but they’re really about something else altogether. You might assume the outcome is what’s visible, but what you see is just a shadow of a much bigger thing that’s underway, just beyond what you can see.
You thought it was about this, but it was actually about that. And you won’t know until later. And maybe it doesn’t matter. Just so long as you don’t waste your time trying to wrap your mind around everything when you’re not seeing everything.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1)
Can you trust, have confidence, and be content in the not knowing?
God is good and has good for you. Even more good than what’s presenting so far.
