Despite how mental toughness is often depicted, I agree with James Clear. Mental toughness is not about yelling, gritting teeth or intimating the opponent.

Mental toughness is waking up tomorrow and starting again.

Mental toughness is showing up, again, when you don’t feel like it.

Mental toughness is taking another step toward a better future when the present is still painful.
