My wife’s grandparents have been visiting the desert but are changing their plans to get home in case the coronavirus makes travel increasingly complicated. We have been doing our best to help them make plans and arrangements, but it’s the love and wisdom we’ve received from them that is noteworthy.

Grandpa Jake (93) when asked if he’s concerned:

“I’ve been in two wars, almost drown on fishing boats, run over by a car, and other near-death experiences I’m probably not even aware of. The Good Lord could have taken me any number of times throughout my life. And, I’m pretty sure He’s going to take me whenever He wants to see me. Coronavirus or not.”

We hope Grandpa Jake lives to be well over a 100. But his legacy and wisdom will live on far longer.
